In 2013, Microsoft claimed that it would be removing support for the Skype Desktop API at the end of 2013. The VC Skype plugin relies on this API. Unless you are using a pre-2015 version of Skype, you may experience issues with the plugin.

The Skype plugin also now creates events whenever your contacts go on- or offline (as of plugin version 0.1.3, which was released with VC version 1.1.6.6).
