Version 0.933
« on: November 21, 2011, 08:54:45 AM »
Here is the latest update: Version 0.930.  There are a lot of changes / additions.  I'm going to just upload it now and then add a post with some information.

Those of you who have been requesting features recently will probably find what you are looking for, but if not, let me know.

EDIT: new attachment, version 0.931 with bug fixes and new command XBMC.SetConnection
EDIT: new attachment, version 0.933 fix for launch commands with parameter and some other additions / fixes

0.933 has some new variables

{#P} = number of payloads in the active command
{#M} = number of matches found (currently regex can return multiple matches but new commands may also do this in the future)
{i} = loop counter when action is repeated multiple times

0.933 also includes the latest DxInput plugin, and a standard configuration for XBMC in German, thanks to Kalle :)

attachment removed, get a newer version :)

Here are some of the new fixes / features in 0.930

- Plugin settings now use their own windows.  So you can have multiple open and still see the history window.
- VC starts with a grey background when loading.  The sequence of events on start up has been cleaned up a bit.
- Commands that require confirmation now generate events, allowing you to prompt the user with TTS etc.
- Every command now has a new setting "RqCnfOvrd".  Look in the top right of the LCB.  The default is 0 which does nothing.  Use this to override the required confidence for this particular command.
- A new scrape command Scrape.XML
- New commands for manipulating results (Results.RegExSingle, Results.RegExReplace, Results.MatchToEvent, Results.MatchConcat)
- Updated the MediaMonkey softmute commands so that you can ajust MM volume while SoftMuted.

Here is a sample group showing how to use the new confirmation features.

Don't worry, it doesn't actually do anything  :biglaugh

Re: Version 0.930 - "RqCnfOvrd"
« Reply #3 on: November 21, 2011, 09:36:28 AM »
Adjust this new setting  "RqCnfOvrd" when editing a command to override the default "Required Confidence".

If you leave it at 0 it will use the default.

for example if you use a default required confidence of 90, and it works well for most commands, but you have one command that is usually only recognized with a confidence of 75, you could set the override on this command to 70.

Haha, nice command  ::club
The new confirmation features works great in ON-mode, but it work not in prefix-mode (only the confirm) Example: I say: "my prefix"- "format c drive" - VC-answer: "are you sure...." - I say: "my prefix"-"Yes" or "Don't do it" (or something which we have specified in the options-general-tab), VC do not recognized. Or do I something wrong?

I need a while to test all things - This Version is a big milestone - congratulations  ::bow (You have earned a Christmas present  :D )

I install it over 0.921 (update) and it run/work succesfully

I think this is an old bug.  The confirm commands do not use the prefix.  I think it was always like this.  I will check it.  Thanks.

WOW.  I just discovered a GIANT BUG in this version.  Dang.  :'( :-[

When you quick restart, it loads plugins again which it should not, and it generates a VC.loaded event, which it should not.

I'll try to get a fix out today.

Hi James, I found an other bug/problem (sorry)
Take a look on the attach - you can see my complete "set volume" command in prefix-mode with setting a idle-timeout of 5 sec and it work - this is okay,
but when I disable the idle-timeout, the same command (vol 80) set the volume to 16 (curious  ??? ) with vol 50 to 10 and so one (always divided 5). When I switch back to On-mode the "error" will remain. Only when I disable my group "intercom with prefix" and "idletime out" group and restart VC, it will work normal.

I will say: without the green/yellow mark set VC the volume in MM to 16 and not to 80

I hope you understand my bad english  :bonk

Kalle

PS: I'm not sure, that we forget the intercom with prefix, when it make to many problems ::console

Thanks Kalle.  Very good bug report.  I can see what I did wrong.

I will upload a new version tomorrow with some fixes.

Puh ...  ::confused

I think it's time that I once again dealing with VC, it has done so incredibly much in the last few month,
I probably have to start from scratch.

I've dealed in the last time almost exclusively with the programming of my home theater control via Web Interface using Event Ghost
(with JQuerymobile).

Hi Marc, I hope you've had success with your remote.
The basics of VC are the same, James has many new features (like plugins) programmed.
Nice to now you have more time for VC  ;)

It's nice to see you again Siutsch.  ::wave

Hopefully you will find something new in VC that you like.  The way it communicates with EG has not changed, I think.

I would like to hear more about what you are doing with JQueryMobile, but maybe not on this thread.
