Title: TV on/off

Hi James & Co,

 I'd really like to get an IR blaster turning my tv on /off and tie this into some 'welcome home' and 'going to bed' type scenes. Based on your own solution, I've looked into the Hali controller but cant seem to find much info on it. It possibly isn't suitable for those of us in Europe either.
What other options are out there that work well with vc?

You can't buy a hali at the moment.

USBUIRT or iTach are good solutions that work with VC.  If you use eventGhost you have even more options.
