very interesting and it might inspire some of you with more knowledge with regards to programing etc to perform some pretty cool things.

Here is a easy to use hand gesture software, which works "out of the box". It doesn't need to install the OpenNi and PrimeSense software as it says in the description - you must have only the Kinect sdk 1.8 installed. This software generate keyboard events in VoxCommando when you enable the VC-Hook-plugin and set up the keys which you want to associate.
Info for Hook plugin: http://voxcommando.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=Plugin_Hook (http://voxcommando.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=Plugin_Hook)
link to the gesture software: https://sites.google.com/site/kinectapps/handgket (https://sites.google.com/site/kinectapps/handgket) (to download the software you must click on the arrow symbol at the right, not on the zip file) ;)
Notice: If you want use hand gesture and VoxCommando together, start first the "HandGKET.exe" and then VoxCommando, otherwise the gesture software does not start. By using HandGKET the Kinect will work in VoxCommando only as normal microphone.
Use the latest VoxCommando version (2.105 or higher), which you can find here: http://voxcommando.com/downloads.asp (http://voxcommando.com/downloads.asp) and activate in VC ->Options->Kinect tab "Attempt to use Kinect device with Audio Streaming"
