Title: Internet Searches
Post by: CarsonY101 on March 14, 2014, 11:28:03 PM
Is there away or does anyone have a command already setup to have voxcommando do an internet search? For example if I wanted to find out as much info as I can about "James Brown" I could just say "Can you gather info on James Brown for me?"

I'm pretty new to this so be nice. Ha!

This would be cool, but an unlimited vocabulary I think is beyond the microphones and speech recognition accuracy.

Maybe a Wolfram Alpha...highly filtered to a specific questions...might be possible.  Just my two cents. I'm an amateur.

It is definitely possible using Payload Dictation in your  command phrase. Take a look to the wiki:

Hellow tried to use it with wolfram alpha:

Sweet, I'll do that for sure. What about having TTS read a line or two of the search results? Would that be under the TTS options?
