I am studying VC with great interest. There is a lot to digest here but I do have a general question to ask....
I have an extensive HA system in my home. I use a Vera as my HA controller.
For using VC, I would like to know if it is possible to have both Chinese and English languages in a single install of VC. My wife is Chinese and I am American, so it would be good to have VC respond and understand both languages.
I would set up VC on my laptop (Win 7) to be running in my server room.
Thanks

Hi bucko. VC can only use one speech recognition language at a time.
You could create side by side installations on the same PC with two different configurations. Kalle has done this with English and German. Generally you will need a way to let the programs know which one you are talking to to avoid false positives. This can be done with a voice command, or using other methods.
Using VC in Chinese is possible but is also somewhat uncharted territory so I hope you will give it a try and let us know how it goes. :)
