Hello everyone
I've run into a problem regarding VC (first occurred when to version updating to 0.9.8.0) and MM.
I can't send voice commands to MM with VC, unless I run MM as administrator (every time). The strange thing is that when I use a backed up, older version (0.9.6.8) of VC, I don't have to run MM as administrator for VC to work. Both versions are in the same folder, both are allowed by windows firewall and are sending the same commands.
I get the following error appears in VC history: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID ... failed due to following error: 80080005
Is this because of the update? or am I doing something wrong somewhere
Regards
Painy

Odd.
Can you please send me two complete folder zips, one for each version?
-
also, is this with a fresh install of 0.980 or did you do an update?
-
I overwrote a previous installation.
Does that explain it? Or should i still send you the two ZIP's
I've also forgot to mention that I have to run VC in administrator every time as well to control MM. XBMC etc works fine without running it as administrator.

It might explain it. Try a clean install. If you still have the same problem, then send me the zips.

Sorry to use this threat but I cant find a NEW POST button on the forum.
I'm facing problems with MM and VC after to update MM to v4.1.29.1910
MM is pushing an error "protocol unknow" or something like that.
Do the plugin need to be udated as well? I can find an update for it.
Please help otherwise I will need to downgrade MM

See attached image regarding the "new topic" button.
As for your error. I am using the same version of MediaMonkey with VoxCommando with no problems.
