Title: Bluetooth Mic
Post by: pmdaniels73 on April 02, 2014, 02:03:52 PM
So my computer setup with VC is in a bedroom but my music plays in the living room. I was wondering what your guys input would be on using a bluetooth mic to issue commands to VC? Would it work ok?

With VC Version 1 no.  With VC Version 2, using the alternate "SP" engine... maybe.

I just got back with a PS3 bluetooth headset. Works fine. I still need to done some speech training I think though. But is doing pretty well as far as basic commands go in media monkey.

Which PS3 headset are you using?

Are you using VC1 ?

I will be surprised if you find that any true Bluetooth headset works reliably enough to be enjoyable with VC1.

I am using VC1. The headset is called afterglow communiator. 30 bucks at walmart. No problems so far out of it.

James,

Also what would be the big advantage by using VC2 vs VC1? Do you have anything on here explaining the differences?
