Title: Donation
Post by: Wanilton on November 17, 2010, 08:00:33 AM
Friends, today I made my donation to James, I think it's time to help him financially, your product is wonderful, so I'm starting a campaign, donate now and update voxcommando guarantees for life, because sooner or later it will start charging, which I consider absolutely normal.
This is my initiative, I think whoever the voxcommando progressing should do the same.

Donat via Paypal, in the Top of home page.

Thanks Wanilton,

It is very nice of you, especially considering how much time and energy you have already contributed to testing, helping other users, and getting the word out to new people.

I am actually planning on changing that donate button to a buy now button soon...  I will probably start off by charging $25/copy and the price will go up as we get closer to version 1.0

It is true that any users who donate $20 or more now will be viewed as having purchased a license and will have life-time free upgrades (for as long as that is possible and under my control).

Even when I start charging, it will be "free to try" and then payment will be based on an honour system.  I am not ready to mess around with activation codes etc.

James,

I see here in the forum many of our guests, but few sign up. Maybe you should limit the test version in time or they just upload here in the forum. I think interest in the software exists, but only want it the most free. too bad, the software has a great future.

Yes, in time I will have to figure something out.  For now I'm not going to worry too much about it since the more people that use it, hopefully the more other people will hear about it.  If I do set up some kind of licensing and activation I have to make sure to do it right because I don't want it to be a pain for registered users like you.

I will certainly have to do something about it eventually though.
